I have decided to switch gears and try to start my own consulting business.

Over the coming weeks I have a pretty heavy learning curve ahead of me.
– Legal paperwork on starting a business
– Creating accounts (business bank accounts, social media, etc.)
– Updating website (design, layout, upgrading hosting services???)
– Accounting (keeping track of expenses, how to get paid, tax filings, etc.)
– Learning new software and skills (how to plan/record/edit tutorials)
– And probably a bunch more that I just haven’t either documented here or even thought about yet…

My plan at this time is to offer SQL Server performance tuning services as well as attempting to produce some training content.

It is scary and exciting at the same time. Springtime is growth season; just seems appropriate.
